Hatteras Tech in New Bern, NC

Recently relocated to New Bern, what a great town, I’m downtown at the Grand Marina and loving
it. I’ve made several attempts to find a technician who is familiar with the Hatteras brand, (you
would think I would have no trouble, seeing they were built here, right up the river actually), but
have spoken with a few on the phone who came recommended, but who never showed up.
To say the least, I’m disappointed and frustrated and looking for help. I have a shopping list of things that need checked and serviced. 1987 54’ Hatteras motor yacht with 8v92t.

Everywhere, every trade. I just got quoted TWENTY ONE THOUSAND dollars to install a gas boiler. OK, it's a combi, needs a line to a new meter. But I built the fake wall and there is no demo or removal. Materials about $5000, two days tops for a competent installer. Two companies came out and didn't even bother to come back with a quote.

Doing it myself. F(@*k them.

Have never had any luck finding guys that work at boat factories than want to work on the side; there's a lot of guys a stones throw away at Viking, the old Ocean Yachts and Egg Harbor and Silverton, etc.
