Hatteras is bringing out new models

My YC buddy that works for the local Hatteras Dealer advised me at the quaterly meeting last week, the Hatteras rep advised the firm that Hatt is going to be brining out 3 new models of boats. My understanding is that the are in the mid 50s to 70 foot range.

This is good news as it indicates a willingness of the company to invest in new product design and bodes well for the continued committment of Brunswick to Hatteras.

I haven't seen anything unusual looking either at the plant (I take the Whaler into there now and then) or being sea-trialed; everything that comes out of there goes by our window. There have been some sport fishermen and their recent 60ft "motoryacht" which was at Miami last year; maybe there are new flavors of each, or they haven't built 'em yet.
