Hi HOF,

Hatteras shows that my 1985 45C has a draft of 4 ft 6 inches. I dont know if that is full fuel load, water tank topped etc or not. If my draft is 4'6" in neutral, what is it at idle speed and planing speeds ? Thank you for any help.

PS For anybody that I am worrying, no, I am not considering flats fishing with my sportfish but in light of a previous post about water depth vs speed I wondered how my draft is affected in real #'s.

answer a question with a question! have you ever noticed a difference in true water line to boot stripe while or after fueling or when filling your water tank? what would it be maybe an inch? it takes alot of additional wieght to push your boat down in the water. I think maybe planing depth MIGHT change to 6" less and that is only if the boat is trimmed properly. bow up, ass down and your probably 6" deeper!
