This AM hwy 12 closed from about OI to Hatteras also Ferry service suspended. About 2 feet of water over the road all salt. When will it QUIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
She invented or first released rap. It's been taken to the extreme low end of what I think she intended. Sadly nothing is safe from that kind of problems. Like the outer banks are not safe from mother nature's wrath.

Tides are running a foot higher than predicted here in Miami... The Gore fans are in heaven. Actually I think he s coming to town to gloat tomorrow when tides will be even higher.
 
If you want to find the first rap tune, which I can't print here, look for the piece by The Last Poets, in the soundtrack of the movie "Performance", which featured Mick Jagger, among others. Very funny, very much in time, and very unprintable.

Well, I wasn't going down there this weekend, anyway.......:(

Actually the Sugar Hill Gang had the first popular released rap song Rapper's Delight, back in 1979. Blonde's Rapture was released in 1981 and was the first rap video to air on MTV. Lou Reed has often been referred to as the original rapper because of his vocal and lyrical style dating back to the late 60s early 70s.

Yeah tides are higher but there is some big winds pushing the water into N.C.

She was a playmate at one time too. Not any more!!

Which means she was in her late 30's when she made the Tide is High video. Looks more like she was in her 20's. I remember when Blonde was starting out. Never knew she was older even back then.
