Hatteras Alarm Panel Buttons

As you see in this photo, the thin panel material is compromised. I'd like to get a washer behind
the button shaft to keep it from pushing through the panel. Does anyone know how to get the black
plastic button off?

I’m sure they should just pull off. Be sure to hold the panel back or you might pull the whole switch thru.

They do pull off. I figured it out this morning. Thanks!
