Hatteras 53MY Paint Matching

Need a little help w Paint match . The PO painted the upper structure from the deck up with unknown white 2 years ago so we just want to touch up the windows and doors. The yard that did the work has no record. His books indicated it might be Matterhorn but it was too bright. Its also not Hatteras off white. We are considering taking a piece to Finishmasters or Home Depot for a match.

Any ideas would be appreciated. The PO was a major traditional Hat guy so he would not of gone to far out of box

I'm just trying to figure my own paint color out. From reading older threads here, you should have Imron 67766U or X.

I have reviewed my owners manual and it lists DuPont 92635U. I haven't been ab;;e to find anything about this color! Help. please.

dont forget, there are 2 different hatteras off whites. did you try both of them?

Yes I have tried both the pre 90 and after. My boat is a 71

Awlgrip and Imron chip charts are available. Get one and forget homo cheapo.

I went to our local automotive paint store and the sent a man out to the boat with a camera which determined the color in the area I wanted to paint and they mixed a gallon of Imron.

This is the only good solution, especially with a second hand paint job or older paint. Finishmasters usually has this service. Whenever I've tried a different method, it shows.
