Just wanted to wish all of you Happy New Year! 2006 has been somewhat bittersweet, but I can honestly say that meeting new friends, both online and in person via this forum has been the high point of my year. Looks like buying a Hatteras took me more places than I thought without even leaving the dock! I look forward to meeting more of you in the future.

Everybody belly up to the bar for a virtual toast, here's to Sam's, new friends, new memories, unbroken boats, and a new year with new opportunities! Now for the bad news, I ain't buyin' unless ya'll show up in Miami for the boat show! Then it's PBR shots for everybody!

PS I promised Doug I wouldn't publicly reply to any responses to this thread. I will however PM you, so watch out!

Here's to another great year on the water. Hope to meet some of you at the Miami show. And keep me in mind if you have extra comp tickets. The last time I went the show was 1992. Hatteras sent me tickets back then, but apparently I'm not worthy anymore. They don't even sent me the magazine.

Happy New Year to all of you! I continue to enjoy this forum for several reasons - all of you are the biggest reason!!
I hear you Sky, I think Hatteras really 'misses the boat' when they fail to include all of us in their distribution of tickets, magazine, etc. What better group to market their new products with? Where could you find better support for their products, quality, reputation, etc.?
Oh well - guess we had better get to the Miami show and share our thoughts with them? Be safe and drink with care my friends - Happy New Year!!

been digging into the electrical system on the boat with Steve H and found lots of problems and fixed most already. It good to have company while you tear your boat apart.

BTW how is the rebuild coming? Did you find a slip at Harbortown yet?
