To all the moms that may read here at the HOF, have a great Mother's Day! My hubby and son are out golfing right now, but they will be back later to cook me a nice steak dinner....ah....yummy!

Naaa, they better not waste their money on that stuff...they know better, and I have it "drilled" into their brains that any "extra" cash goes right into our "bigger boat fund"...hahaha....

Thanks. for my mothers day I get to go to work. BUT..... two (2) proposals in the family to announce. My youngest is getting proposed to today... surprise , surprise..and my daughter-in-law announced she is getting re-married. (My son passed away 2 years ago.) We gave her our blessings as we feel the kids need a man in the family and she is to young to be alone for the rest of her life. Plus, the guy is really a great guy!!!
My daughters and I hit the scene last night. we went to dinner and then to the American legion (I'm a member) to shoot some pool and have a few drinks. It was an early night as my youngest had to get home to the baby who demanded his momma. As usual I didnt do good in pool. I just cant beat my older daughter. Oh well, it was fun any way.

Well, last night i cooked on the aft deck. BBQ'd 2 whole chickens (one after being marinated in Korean Bulgogi sauce) along with sweet potatoes (not the yellow American kind), Chinese Brocolli and spinach with mushrooms steamed with Garlic, anise, soy sauce, nutmeg and a bit of water. And fresh red beans we peeled right before the pot went on the grill. Aso, had sticky rice.

A great time was had by all.
