Hatteras Model
37' CONVERTIBLE (1977 - 1982)
The other day I searched through my manuals and the Hatteras electrical drawings to trace a 12 volt bilge wiring problem. I noticed I was missing the referenced drawing so I checked the originals I bought from Hatteras in 2003 for our 1979 37. No luck, the drawing was missing. I called Jennifer at Hatteras customer service yesterday and left a message as she was out. Today she called back to advise me that the drawing package sent to me in 2003 did not include the missing drawing, she tracked it down and is sending it right out. I told her that I would let Hat owners know how great the customer service continues to be.

Thanks again Jennifer and Hatteras!!!

It's impressive all right !!!
What a convenience to have sources for documentation and parts as well as this forum. We seem to have a rather large proportion of anal retentives here, myself included, so that authortative support is a great feeling. :D

You gotta' love 'em. Steve McPhereson got us a contact number at the factory and I just called them this week because we were going by New Bern, NC on our Great Loop trip and Nancy Ray arranged a personal guided factory tour for us yesterday. To say it's amazing to see them in action making 60 to 100 ft. yachts is an understatement. I was blown away. They even gave us Hatteras logo shirts. Now I want a bigger new Hatteras. See pictures of the whole factory and their processes on our blog (here) and click on April 24th blog.

WOW!

WOW! Is right Doug. Thanks for sharing that.

Doug and Kathy,

I know some folks who did the loop and their stories were great but your blog says a lot more. What fantastic memories you will have.

On a side note.

My wife had the opportunity to go to Japan a couple years back as part of her Masters degree program and she taught in a Japanese elementary school. OK the point is, I went online to Sony Image Station , it is free, and created a leather bound book with her narratives and pictures.

It looks very much like an encyclopedia. A wonderful Keepsake to pass down.

Looking forward to seeing more pics and reading your blog.

Thanks for sharing Nick - Doug, loved the blog spot.
