I was driving through a subdivision in town that was named during the space boom and one of the streets was Uranus. I thought to myself hmmm and noone has ever changed that name over all these years. lol

I used to live near Beavercreek, Ohio. Within that community, a lot of business were named Beaver-Vu this or that. There was Beaver-Vu Construction, Beaver-Vu Condominiums, Beaver-Vu Bowling, etc. What was surprising was to see "Beaver-Vu Gynecology". I wonder whose idea that was.

I used to have a 36' Trojan. When I bought it she was named "Safe Sex". First thing I did when I bought it was to rename her Saltshaker.

i think the worst i've seen was "GFY", on a sportfish in Cape May New Jersey...

i ve seen many other silly / goofy names, but G F Y ? can't imagine calling the USCG with such a call sign.

My urologist's first boat had the "Doctor Pepper" logo on the transom. You had to look real closely to see that it really said "Doctor Pecker". His new boat has a big red oval that says Peterbuilt inside. Just like the trucks. I guess if you're a urologist you better have a sense of humor, eh?
