Hi, I have the GM AACW (Capstan & Wildcat) 600 Lbs windlass on my 1980 Sport Fishing sedan 37 and there is a rubber shock absorber connecting electric motor drive with the gear drive shaft. Both the motor and gear shafts terminate in 2' flange with two 1/4" pins which slot in the rubber shock absorber puck. When I overhauled the windlass 4 years back the rubber shock absorber was worn a little bit but today I've found it in the chain locker as it broke and fell off. Is this something GM carries readily as spare part? Have any of you replaced this shock absorber and if so, where did you get the replacement from?
