I tried a set of the Globe super impellers 20 hours ago. The port one failed (bushing spun)48 miles off OCMD. Replaced it with a sherwood. Got back to the dock replaced the STB impeller. was getting ready to go , missing all kinds of vanes( found them in the aftercooler). I do not reccomend these impellers.
One other note after speaking with my mechanic, He used to use them and found that they did not have the big rubber insert that covers the exposed side of the impeeler and keeps the keyway from moving. The key would slide out and cut a perfect hole in the coverplate on the raw water pump.
