Generator Kohler

Hello from Borneo. Well the heat exchanger on my Generator failed and filled the cylinders with water, corroded and now seized. Managed to dismantle it and removed it from boat. Boat on mooring, had to hand carry 500 lb engine onto tender, not for the faint of heart. Looking at an engine rebuild, Yanmar 4JHL-K, can someone here suggest / recommended some where to get the parts.

If you are in Borneo, I would think that if you could get to Singapore there should be all the services you need there. John

There is a Yanmar distributor in Singapore. Also try www.marinedirect.com.au for Yanmar and Kohler parts in your region. For any Yanmar Genset enquiry you will need a Yanmar model and serial number. If it’s a Yanmar engine in a Kohler Genset you will need the Kohler model and serial number.
