Generator fuel pickup

Hi. Are there standpipes in the fuel tanks on the MY and YF models that keep the generators from pulling all of the fuel from tanks when the quantities get low? My AFT gen feeds from the AFT tank, FWD from FWD. I’m curious if they’d shutdown like on newer boats - or run until tanks are dry.

My generator runs out of fuel about 10 minutes before the motor that shares its fuel tank also runs out of fuel.

Know how I know?

Cleaning the fuel manifold and racors was tedious.

Do not run out of fuel.
