  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
45' CONVERTIBLE-Series I (1968 - 1975)
I don't have a spare owners manual here in the office, so here we go.
Does anyone know what the original supply and return setup was for a series one 45C for the generator ?
The fuel maifold by the salon door lets you do whatever switching you wish for the propulsion engines, but there is no mention of the generator.

The Series II pulled and returned to the Starboard tank.

There is/was a shutoff valve near the tank (under the gauge access panel) but no selector manifold for "which tank".

One my '72 45C, the genny supply and return lines are hard plumbed to the center tank. The shutoff valve is located at the tank.

I don't like that set up. It will get changed to allow selection from any tank, just like the mains.

The Generator supply and return lines on my 1980 DCFB are plumbed into the main tank aft. There are two valves in the supply line; one at the tank and one under the port M.E. The latter is probably to facilitate servicing the primary fuel filter for the generator.
