Gen sets for 61 MY 1979-1980

Anyone have the manufactuer and model number for these? I think they are 20kv Kohlers. I need an engine serial number for Kohler to track this down in their history files.
Anyone wish to sell the service manual to same or a copy?

Ron, there should be a plate bolted/riveted to the genny....mine was painted over but I drilled out the rivets, removed the plate and cleaned off the paint to discover it did NOT match the original records on my boat. Took me a while to find it with a flashlight.

In my case it turned out I had a standard 12KW ONAN rather than the 15 KW ONAN stated in original records...I was suspicious because 15KW was not the standard for my boat....The (intake, I think) valve clearances were different between the two models...likely some other things as well...She runs better with the proper valve clearance!!!

Hi I have the same boat 1985 If they are Kohlers it should be a perkins engine. You can download the manual for free I have the address at my office and will forward it on Monday. (PM me if I forget) The manuel for the electrical end can be had From Gulf Coast Power in Bradenton FL they can copy it and mail to you if they can't I have it. I will send that # also. Don't expect good manuals they are very vague and cover many models.
