Garmin Card Reader

Stashed away in a drawer I found some of these chart data cards (two different mfgs and sizes) . There are cards for Key West, Bahamas, South Florida, etc.... When I purchased the boat it had upgraded Garmin electronics and I don't see any equipment on board that works with these (the old equipment may still be over in my storage unit I forget).
Anyway I'm wondering is this outdated or obsolete technology or does it still have a place on board..?

I had that setup years ago, had a reader as well. I think the idea was people could down load and send to Garmin. !5 years ago I replace my chart plotter with a newer unit with SD card slots. I would think there would be very few people around today that still have use for that system. I threw mine away, but you could always put it on ebay.
