Took a trip to Okeechobee yesterday to visit Galleymaid with a problem head
Was met by one of the family named Ernie
He took the head to pieces in front of me put in new seal ,cleaned the rotor and put in new staters
He then tested it an l only paid for parts
Well worth the drive if you are in central Florida

While in the process of buying/moving Pau Hana I drove past their facility numerous times. Sadly, never while they were open and also wouldn't have helped with anchor windlass issue since someone had removed power cable between genny room and anchor windlass. Now that Pau Hana is no more, and I'm over a year past the loss, you'd think it was over.

They have great customer service. I’ve dealt with Rick a number of times. Just sent the top of the gear case on my windlass to have them put a new seal on the vertical capstan after having it chromed. I know it’s kind of silly, but a little bling on the windlass doesn’t hurt, right?
