Galley Maid water pump

I purchased a rebuilt 32v water pump from Raz. After installing the fuse keeps popping. Theo old pump did not have a problem running just a bad pump. Any thought would be appreciated.

If you mean breaker rather than fuse, it’s probably a weak breaker. It’s probably tripping because everything in that new pump is tight. If it’ll run for 15-20 seconds, you try and put up with it as the pump breaks in. Otherwise, sounds like time for a new breaker. If it trips immediately sounds like a short.

Amperage rises with pressure. What's the pressure at shutoff? I'd compare it to the old of possible.
