Fuzzies again

I last replaced fuzzies and sliders in these windows nearly 20 years ago. It was past time to do the job again. I've sat on the box of materials from Sams for a few years because I really didn't want to do it very badly. But I finally broke down and dug in. Glad its finished and good for hopefully as long as I own this boat.

Oh for Pete’s sake Sky, please tell me you spent time cleaning up the area before you shot those pictures. I can’t believe your boat is that clean.

I’m also jealous of your galley sliders. Broadus Rose talked me out of those when I replaced my galley windows.

The thing about redoing the fuzzies before they rot to much is it is easier to remove. I found that part to be the most time consuming.

I did our boat about ten years ago. I could probably stand to do it again. But what a job ! This Florida heat is hard on everything, including me.

I agree that the longer you wait, the more difficult it is to get the old ones out and to get it all cleaned up. Its a PITA job no matter what though.
