Hatteras Model
52' CONVERTIBLE (1983 - 1990)
Just checked fuel prices around 2,99 with tax number or 3.19 without in Morehead city never thought i would see that again. Beauford SC 3,70 you do not want to fuel in Hilton Head about thirty miles south...in excess of 4.00 Look at the diffrence almost a buck and changes. Ospray in Myrtle Beach 3,199 with boat us 10 cents more off per gallon and with 700 or more gal another 1 cent getting down whonder where the bottom is. Trip to Palm Beach looking closser all the time...

$3.59 in the Keys. Most are mid $4.00 though. Come on down. Right now the wind will blow you half the way here. Small craft warnings for all waters in the keys keeping us at the dock paying through the nose for dockage. The fuel is the cheapest thing about our cruising. Love hull speed economy.

Checked for a customer . $3.08 plus tax delivered for 200 gal .

When it hits $.99 I'm filling up.

Have you ever wondered what would happen to the US economy if diesel was stable and about $1.50 a gallon? All goods are "touched" by diesel via freight costs and many of our transportation costs would also drop as well. Automakers would be scrambling to shift to clean diesel models and a huge surge in new car sales would ensue. Used diesel vehicles would also increase in value. All diesel watercraft including everyones boat on this forum would have significant increases in value. Airline pricing would drop. Food costs which affect us all would start dropping as well. As long as the companies involved played by established free market principles, $1.50 a gallon diesel would be an across the board mega shot in the arm of the US economy. Unfortunately, the only way this could happen realistically is by government intervention either by price controls or some sort of subsidies. It would also have to have the cooperation of the richest and most powerful corporations on the planet....never mind.

Didn't notice diesel prices in Destin harbor last week, but gas was $4.95 per gallon. A tad high considering that's over $2 more per gallon than it was at most service stations in the area. Was thinking about renting a little boat and messing around with the boy, but we decided on a dolphin cruise instead.

2.99 here for diesel all taxes incl. I was going to get fuel tomorrow but I may wait. They get a fuel delivery mid week and said they expect another .10 drop. After that the prices won't go down much since they aren't taking delivery as often as they do during the season. Paid 2.49 for gas for the car yesterday. Cheapest I've seen yet. Last time oil prices were this low gas on the road was in the low $2 range and marine diesel was in the 2.75 range for truck delivery.

Maybe the 150gph cruise of the 70C with 1800HP 16V2000's might not be so bad!

Jack I love the way you think!!!!!!!

Wow. I just drove up from Virginia to MD and saw regular gas at 2.67/gallon, and I thought THAT was cheap. And diesel for 3.38, but that's on land, not on the water.

3.35 at the dock in PC:cool:

3.25 PAPCO Newport News. Includes tax.

Panama City,FL:cool:

$2.90/gal Ocean City NJ off the truck.

Just fueled up with Dockside Fuel Service. Came to the boat in Hobe Sound. $3.07. They will go anywhere between Vero and Riviera Beach. PM me if you would like their number.

Diesel is $3.09 at Top Rack Marina, Chesapeake, VA (on the ICW)

Correction on PAPCO. Got there Tuesday and was told the girl on the phone made a mistake. 3.59 was the price.
