Anybody in the upper midwest have fuel delivered via truck to dock? I know its done down in the St Louis area so I wonder if others up north have had it done. I went into the storage season really low so its going to be 800 gallons plus to start the season for us.

They do it here in Michigan but only condo-docks are allowed. If you lease a slip typically the Marina will have a fuel dock and they mandate that you can not truck in fuel

I have fueled off of a truck many times, but only at my condo dock.

Thanks Sky, LMcruiser also reached out with some suggestions. Not a big deal and hope I don’t look to cheap but it was a thought I had that I wanted to chase down.

I remember doing this in Baltimore- Vane Brothers had a fuel barge that would motor up to the slip, tie up, pump your tanks full, and take VISA. And in the marina in Kent Island, there was a fuel truck that would deliver, too. Nothing like that around, now.

I hear the Peterson’s fuel barge go by most mornings down here, that’s what got me thinking.

One of our forum members out here in the SF Bay Area scored a fantastic price on wet hose delivery at the height of the pandemic ($2.75).

I always worried about the USCG transfer requirement, but some are savvy to it:
