Drove past all the commotion yesterday near old Roosevelt bridge. Telling wife about the thread on here regarding a small spill and officials with clipboards, didn't realise they had lost 300 gallons, hope he was well insured!

How do you spill 300 USCG? At 30/35 GPM that s almost 10 minutes of pumping without neither the captain or the truck driver noticing fuel was spilling?

If there was a leak at the filler hose and the fuel ended up in the bilge and overboard you d think someone would notice...

This is the reason our HOA banned truck fueling at our docks a few years ago. We didn't have spill but wanted to avoid the cost if one were to occur.
