  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
48' LRC (1976 - 1981)
Looking fo the specs on the fuel pressure switch on 4-53

What are you switching? Are you giving something power or ground?

After searching previous posts I found what I need. The pressure switch is used for the hour meter, it is a NC switch on the hot wire.

NC, would mean the circuit is complete with no pressure.

Your correct the switch is NO. Thanks for setting me straight. It has been some long days moving up the St.Johns river, now just 11 miles from St Augustine. I know now that all I have to do is remove the old leaking one and plug the hole until I get a new switch. Again thanks

When I tried to remove mine, they would not budge even after soaking in PB Blaster for days. I had my mechanic do it and both broke off and had to have the holes drilled and tapped. Just a precaution for you.

That was one of my fears, I have contained the slight drip and will not attempt to fix until I get to a dock.
