We just bought a pair of Navman fuel flow sensors for our 36C. They don't work for diesels or FI gas engines as those return lots of fuel to the tank. Our old Crusaders with quadrajunk carburators are surely eligable. I had to add filters before the engine filters as Navman wants filtered fuel for their padelwheel units. I bought Merc. spin on filters and mounts. They look real nice and I am mounting both inboard so I don't have to stand on my head with my oversize body jammed between the hull and the starboard engine when changing the Crusader filters. I installed new fuel lines from the shutoffs to the engines. Hatteras used an "Aeroquip" wire jacketed Coat Guard "A" hose. No one has that but they do sell Coast Guard "A" hose. The brass ends on the Hat hoses are like the #8 hose ends we use on high preassure aircraft hose only they are brass. They sure are overkill, WOW. I used their ends,( yes I do know how to install them). I had to use barbed fittings and hy-gear clamps everywhere else as the sending units are plastic and have nipples to slide the hose over and clamp. I guess I am a little concerned as Hatteras used top quality aircraft high preassure fittings and hose. I just can't figure out why. These hoses are in a negative preassure area,(they suck). You sure need to make them robust enough not to collapse, but that's all. Hatteras has copper tubing from the shutoffs to the tank.
