I installed a Vacu-flush toilet system today to replace the original electric head. It was a fair amount of work but it went in more or less as I planned. But I now have a problem with my fresh water system. During the installation I put a T in a fresh water pipe to feed the new toilet (old toilet used salt water) when turned on the fresh water pump it didn't sound right and I don't have any water pressire at all , it sounds like the pump lost it's prime, but this has never happened before and I don't know how to get it going again. It looks like a fairly new pump made by PGM it also has a pressure tank. Any suggestions would be helpful, thank-you.

There should be a priming plug somehwhere near the inlet to the pump.

On my GM pump there's a little pet cock that opens to purge air....my potable tank, when full, is higher than the pump. so water gravity feeds into the pump. But it will airlock if the system is opened up and I do need to purge it then. Thx.

my old galleymaid has a priming plug on top of the pump housing behind the stator.

Thank-you guys!! I ended up pulling the inlet hose and priming it that way and it's back working.
