  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
53' MOTOR YACHT (1969 - 1988)
After draining & refilling my H2O tanks, I now have issues with very low pressure at my master stateroom shower and several (not all) faucets.

(I'm currently using dock water but will be switching to internal when I get the water pump fixed!)

I will be checking the pressure regulator water valve and any "check" valves that I can locate (need help on this, too.)

Other suggestions out there are welcomed for this "newbie"!!

Have you checked the screens in the fixtures for debris?

Sure sounds like sediment clogging the tiny holes of the outlets. Remove shower heads and faucet screens and see if that cures the problem. If so, just clean out the holes and screens.

Is the system pressure on the gauge normal?

Maybe take the valves apart too. It doesn't take much to restrict flow in a faucet valve.

I need to clean my screens all the time. I since then bought a water filter for my city water connection on the dock. I'm still cleaning the screens. Go figure...But thats what I do when the water pressure gets low. It's usually my aft stateroom too. Mysteries abound.

why not remove the screens?

It was the screens (stupid me!) Thanks to all...
