Found short inside power logic box for smxII control

The Crusair AC in our master room stopped cooling. the green cool light would light up but the compressor would not engage. after replacing capacitors and checking every wire including behind the breaker panel, I figured the problem had to be inside the logic box for the smx control. Well I found the problem real quick. apparently the triac module shorted. this determination was easy considering the evidence of a high temperature burn around the base of the triac. I happen to have a spare logic box which had a triac. AC is now working normally.
