Id disguise it as a crack den and do some good for the community.

I thought that was your birthday present all wrapped up. How do the termites get onto the boat? I always thought they needed a direct line from the ground.

There are subterranian termites from the ground they are the most destructive. and there are termites that fly. Termites in boats is very common around here.

My friend across the street had termites eat his teak swim platform, his teak battens along the bulwarks and ate his teak furniture inside the salon.

Gourmet termites.

Polyestermites?

Nice drone, would have loved to have one when we were cruising. I was at the big cellular trade show in Vegas a couple weeks ago; guys demoing drones that you control and see the picture with your phone/tablet.

Dave, that must be rough to walk up to your boat like that. Hope it comes out great. What a nightmare.

I have never seen or heard about this until this last weekend. My wife and I were leaving the boat for supper when we could barely get off the boat for swarming termites. They had covered a piling right outside our wingdoor. I didnt know what they were until I asked a security guard. They had eaten a hole out of the middle of several pilings and i guess hiding inside. We are in Homestead and cant wait to leave. This place is more buggy than any place I've ever been. We cant even think about sitting outside. The reason for that is.........they dont spray for bugs at the Biscayne National Park (Herbert Hoover marina) and you can tell. Other than that its a great place. I just hope I dont get any termites.

Dang.
I wish I had those signs and some of that gas attached to a door trigger back in May. I hear those termiticides are pretty effective against theives, too!

I picked up drywoods in the Bahamas years ago and had the same issue. Lots of boats got them there. One tent job and you are good to go.

Roaches, etc. will all go away too.

Wash all your dishes, however.

The Drone was very cool! The ownwer was very good at controlling it. He had it 12"from my head and it just sat there. He has a Go Pro camera on it and you really get a bird's eye view.

He could let go of the controls and it would just hover. He said he lets it hover when he if fighting a fish.

I learned that you have to make sure that it has a GPS position before taking off or it will head to the last position it had. The compass takes care too or it will get disorented.

They can be bought for about 1100.00

There's all kinds of cheaper drones out there these days too...some for 200-300bux that work well.
