Forum will be down Thursday morning for upgrade

We are once again ready to attempt the upgrade of the forum and the Sam's Marine web site. This is a pretty major event so the forum may be down for a few hours tomorrow morning. We will close the forum around 8:30AM EST Thursday 7/21.

I totally agree but it kinda is broke. The vBulletin forum software is not up to date and the back end MySQL and PHP is also several versions behind. If I don't do it now.... it will one day really break. To insure we don't have to go thru this again, we are actually relocating both the Sam's Marine web site and the forum to a hosted server where we pay others to keep all of it updated.

If all goes well, what you see tomorrow when it all comes back up will look pretty different - but hopefully better than it is today.

oh good grief....if that's anything like what has happened with my wife, the result may not "better"....grumpier, yes!!
