There is a lot of talk about performance with which engine , gear ratio and props etc. I think it would be a good idea to have a place on user info that identifies the boat you have , what engines, transmissions, props, performance at cruise and WOT, performance to include speed and fuel consumption.

With this info someone can x refenence lets say 41c and pull up all member 41c and then all data will be available.

Egg Harbor owners sight has something like that. There is a chart with all the pertainant info which the owners send in. I guess it would be easiest to list it by size then year then type.

due to size of this forum, i think it would be best if it was posted in your user profile and allow users to search by size and type of boat to get data. lots of models and lots of engine and prop variations, chart would be too large.

Dang, I think I'm having a relapse or something. I could have sworn I responded to this thread already.

Good idea Steve, it would be interesting to see more details of members' boats. I think everybody should list their phone numbers and e-mail addresses too.

Give me a holler and we'll discuss some more good ideas with a PM or a phone call.

One Idea for this and this I guess it is mainly for Doug.
If you have a section or column for Fuel burn I think next to it should be how the #s are achieved such as Flowscan or gallon/hrs. Maybe giving the two choices so that it can stay simple.
Well just my thought because I see a big different sometimes between the two.
Also do you think this should be moved to Forum feedback?
