  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
58' YACHT FISHERMAN (1970 - 1981)
I'm selling my custom made pipewelders style davit l made last winter.

3" polished stainless steel, mirror finish!. Thick 1/4" pipe wall. Reinforced with a 2"x1/2"x3' long stainless flat bar inserted into the davit and it's stand pipe.

New stainless steel winch cable installed into winch spool. Serviced 110v motor

I replaced the old remote control with a new one. Included is the standard issue stand pipe installed in 53 & 58 MY, stand pipe painted in white.

Overall all in great shape. Small paint chip in the stand pipe and a small 3" grinder mark at the base of the davit. This davit is built very strong and heavy duty. It does not "bow" like the old style aluminum davit. This davit picks up my 13' whaler with a 40 hp (about 850 lbs). Custom welding shop told me that this davit is worth about $3500 complete. My reason for selling is simply because I bought a hydraulic davit.

I'll post pictures in a day or two.

$2000 OBO

You pick up or I'll deliver locally in South Florida. Will ship anywhere with paid shipping

I took these pictures this morning. Mario

The measurements are as follows:7' measured horizontally from the davit base to the pulley end,4' measured horizontally from the pulley end to the bolster tube.50" lift height measured from the deck to the pulley . This is relative and can be higher or lower depending on standpipe*360* rotation

Is this David still for sale? Thanks

Based on the post ahead of yours, I would say it's sold.

Thanks. If it doesn't workout, send me a reply or call me 954-646-7525.
