Can anyone recommend a yard to reconfigure my flybridge (1976 43 DC)?

I want to remove the fiberglass benches and replace them with captain's chairs.

Prefer Florida Gulf Coast (Tampa homeport) but Keys and east coast are doable. I would rather travel and pay a little more than deal with the two half wits I interviewed here.

Thanks

Bruce

Freestyle,
I think your best bet is to look for somone independant and get them to come to the boat. This sounds like a project that could be done in the water and you may save money doing it that way and find a better person for the job. Otherwise I would start looking at going to Ft. Lauderdale.

If you contact Tim and Tampabay Yacht Services he may be able to help you, or to steer you in the right direction. I dont have the number, but if you can't find it, I can.

I had extensive work done at Rennovators in St. Pete. I would recommend giving them a try.

While you are at it, consider rebedding the myriad of fasteners that hold the flybridge in place. I have considerable bad coring up there, due to water getting in. As another post mentioned, those screws offer many sites for water ingresss.
