Florida Boat Insurance

I have seen many threads on needing to find insurance. I currently need to have 1M liability for our hurricane hole marina. Existing policy wouldn't go that high. Tried an umbrella but apparently I own too many dangerous toys. Was trying the umbrella thing through my commercial business broker. Asked if he could get extended coverage for just the boat policy.

Well he came up with a complete policy with 1M liability, has Bahamas coverage, and same limits for value on my boat for less $ than old policy. I was at $86K agreed value but now I'm going to bring that up. As is the policy is $2,087.

Is that liability only or does it cover hull, hurricane damage, etc?

Mine from State Farm is a few bucks under 2K with a 3K deductible but liability is only 100K. It covers hull damage, theft, personal goods, etc

Thats not alot of liability. 1 mil is much better these days

He said it was 86k on the hull higher on the new one. Is that for the 34 or 46?

46. What I paid for it. Have nearly double into it now. But want to get up to 125 in agreed value. While nice they are only worth just so much. Is what it is.
