Has anyone ever tried to use cork flooring in thier Hatt? It is easy under foot, insulates noise, heat, and cold, easy to put down, lasts for years, comes in almost any color and is relatively cheap. It can be recoated with varnish if it needs to be dressed up.

Cork flooring is an old traditional material for yachts. I was aboard a wonderful old Burger that had cork in the pilothouse. It was very comfortable under foot. I think it would be great to see on a Hatt, or any modern yacht.
