Shyness????????????
Left just before they reinvented the site, for whatever reasons. Been watching for awhile now. You guys are way more fun than the old crowd. Almost as much fun as www.bertram31.com . Those boys can party. Get togethers all up and down the coast, dove shooting in tx(last weekend) pheasent shoots in feb, went to tropic star in Panama for the Uncle vic Invitaional marlin tournament(veneu changed after port eads La blew off the map) 30+ of them and one hatteras owner,me , (I feel like one of those missionaries trying to conver the heathens, to no avail) at the Ft Liquerdale show over the past 5years .
Couple of you guys sound like you'd fit right in. rum runners with depth charges are the drink of the am......

Tim
aka thudddddd, which is the sound I make after Uncle vic drinks me off my bar stool

Hey Tim,

I knew that shy comment would wake you up! I'll program your numbers into my cell and give you a buzz when I get to "Ft Liquerdale".

Sounds like you'd be a good addition to "The Crew". We'll talk about respective adventures and such, and I'll even let you buy me a drink or ten and/or dinner.

Just remember, I only have eyes for JelloBoy, so I won't go home with you (unless you have a really nice home or boat) if you get me drunk. :D

That's it, I'm out  . Freebird, btw the boat show's in KEY WEST, buddy!
You weren't supposed to tell anybody I made a pass at you under the swim platform BITCH!!!
Ah hell JB, I knew you were drunk, so I didn't think anything about it. I still love ya man, but not like that.

Don't be mad if I go out with other guys. I won't leave you hangin by the phone, wondering when I'll be back, or if I'll be back.

BTW, what's the address in Key West for that boat show? Figure I may as well take that one in to while I'm in the neighborhood.

Watch out dogen them old guys that started the site they got a plathura....

Only the ones who have had a sex change operation!

Lose your Cuban to American translation book there GuzBoy? :D

IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE!!!! MY PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPHED DALE EARNHARDT HATTERAS T SHIRT!!!

Oh man, where's my digital camera? I'd take a picture of it to show you guys!!

Oh well, I suppose that would take away from the grand unveiling at the FLIBS show.

See ya'll there. :D

See, it's all this banter that was missing from the hatt site before.
I agree there's a ton of info here, just alot less fun to get it, than on the bert page. Plus my 41's closer to a 31 bert(system wise, certainly not quaility, being as berts and bayliners are kissin cousins. Well maybe we shouldn't go down that path with Randy and the rest of you guys) than the big *ss 50+' battle wagons.

thuddddddd

Hope you meant to say info here is "just alot MORE fun to get". Otherwise, GIT THE HELL OFF OUR PLAYGROUND!!! :D

Hey, don't be comparing a Bert to a Gayliner, that ain't right. Ole' Dicky Boy built some dang good lookin' Hatt clones.

Don't be afraid to go down the path if you can walk the walk, and talk the talk.

I'll be thinkin' I hope I'm not stinkin' while I'm drinkin' in my new Earnhardt shirt at FLIBS.

All modesty aside, I think I can take credit for a good portion of the attitude change on this site, not that there was anything wrong with it pre-FREEBIRD.

It's been a learning process to see who I can mess with and who I can't, and I've ruffled my share of "purist" feathers. I even got called into the office by the principal, Doug Underwood (who is a self-admitted good ole boy too). He and I had a nice talk, and I agreed to try and behave. I must admit, I got a litte carried away sometimes, but I'm trying to do better.

Like I've told these ole' boys on the forum, boating is supposed to be fun. I can be as serious as the next guy when the situation warrants, but I'm like you. Laughter is the best medicine, even for a blown up 12V71N.

How about 4 blown 6v53n's before I found a "real" DD mech??? After I poped the first one the advice was rebuild they are great motors. 20k+ into it and 3 short (Frozen North East) seasons the advice givers said I should have just repowered, forgetting thats what I wanted to do in the first place. Oh well.

Anyhow ya'll sound like you'll be a hoot, looking forward to meeting you guys and introducing you to the lesser boaters I hang around with.

Well after 4 blown DD's, I think I would lose my sense of humor. Sounds like you need to do a little diving on your mechanic's boat (assuming he owns one) if you know whatta mean.

Looking forward to meeting you and your buddies. Hey, hoot is my middle name. I've considered signing my name like the big boys by listing my first initial, then my middle and last name. But somehow, R. Hoot Register, just don't sound right.

See ya'll at the show (the one with the boats).

Hay when we all meet at the boat show remind me I gotta find a cool coffee table for my salon Crazybird took mine ..

Hey LRC, I sure do like my mermaid coffee table. Hope I can find one at the show that matches it, with the fish part on the other end.

PS Bubbamigo, BTW, "hay" is what you keep in the barn. "Hey" is what rednecks say to one another when they pass each other on the way to the beer store.
