Finally Out of the paint booth

Well after a couple of hurricanes, many work demands, and life in general we are finally out of the paint shop. (3 yrs in the shop! hard to believe) I wasn't certain we would make it out at times. We still have lots of parts to install on the boat but we are close to being done.

The focus now is to go through the process needed to get her home. the list includes:

Change engine oil, filters and belts.
Change generator oil, filters and belts.
Change packing on rudders and shafts.
Check the injectors.

What did I forget? I have a mechanic helping me but want to do as much as possible and use him to teach me what I don't know (which is a lot).

A few more, we are sitting in the yard awaiting the mechanic to help me with the engine startup process. Hoping to be in the water and on her way home by the end of March.

Looks great!! Don't forget to address the fuel that has been sitting for three years, as well. New filters and a little fuel additive would likely be very helpful. Ensure you have extra fuel filters for your voyage.

The diesel fuel would be big worry for me, did you treat it with anything before the boat went into the yard?
Also would be worried about the condition of the batteries too.
