Remember a thread about ugly boats well here is the ultimate:

Ugly what do you mean look at all that room, its like having a camper. I think I need too sell my Hatt :p

A camper might be more seaworthy than that. The only way to know for sure is to drive it into the water and test them side by side.

isnt it great,,, i saw one of these on a trailer around 1979 t0 1981, man it was ugly. have been looking for on on the net for a while now, new it was a cutter but could never find it then Scott(boatsb) told me that it is a Cargile American and was then able to find it

Funny you should mention trailer. This Cargile looks very much like a type of boat I used to see on the Mississippi as a youngster that was noted for having the wheels permanently mounted to the bottom of the boat. No, I'm not kidding. Talk about a poor design. I believe it may have actually out-uglied the Cargile. I don't remember what they were called, but I do remember them being very very slow. Can't imagine why.

Compared to what I remember, the Boaterhome could be called sleek.

Whutsa'matter, you don't like high freeboard! :p

67hat34c ,Dan , Sky you guys found it so I'll wait to make an offer till you guys turn it down . In all fareness ,let me know I do like the space and the bea-ti-full side windows :p

Maybe they'll trade with you, Carl.

I wonder how many different company's dumpsters they had to pick through to get the molds for that. It looks like three different boats cobbed together. I can't figure out who scares me more, the designer, the builder, or the buyer. What's even scarier is that they apparently made more than one. Imagine having that docked next to you.... yuck!

BTW, I'd guess that the people that had the boats with wheels on them probably had houses with wheels on them too.

The stripes don't help much, do they....it might look a lot better without them. At least it would be less noticeable, which would be all to the good, if you ask me...

I remember an add they did in the late 70s on one they named "The Spirit Of St. Louis", then, with the help of support boats, crossed the Atlantic and ran it right up the Seine into Paris! For all I know it's probably still there :D

An old naval architect once said, "if it doesen't look right, than it's not".
