  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
52' CONVERTIBLE (1983 - 1990)
I am replacing my shower flanges and connected drain hoses. The current hose is a 1 1/2 gray hose with cuffs on the end for clamping. What do you guys use/like. I plan to do my bilge pump hoses themselves next, so buying in bulk be advantageous. Thanks for any replies and comments.

Trident 147 smooth wall inside and out with clear / black helix. readily accepts normal hose clamps and no hose cuffs nec.

I agree. I used 147 when I replaced my bilge hoses

Thanks, 147 is ordered.

Only note is that Trying to fit 147 in the aft show and bilge run is a PIA. Pretty hard, and that one spot is tight (at least on my 77)

Yes this is a premium hose for shower drains, but maybe too stiff in some applications such as bilge hose. Specs show 3" bend radius on the 1 1/8", but it seems a lot more than that.

A little heat helps. And these new battery powered Dewalt/Ryobi heat guns are handy for that.

I've used it on a few differing diameters of hose but the largest i have is 1.5" for rule 3700 pumps. I didn't have any issue looping it up for antisiphon before the bilge through hull or into the pumps. I second the heat gun to fit it over barbs.
