Another boating season comes to an end. The old girl is tucked away in inside heated storage for the winter. It was another uneventful cruise up to La Crosse, Wis., perfect weather & unbelievable calm water. Saturday morning we ran into a thick fog bank, so we laid up for about 20 minutes. We could have kept going, but decided it might be better if we didn't get run over by the 15 barge tow headed southbound toward us in the next bend. Maybe when we get working radar....
The fog lifted, but left a thick cloud over the water that just didn't move.
