Hey guys, I don't post much, but I thought maybe some of you might like to see what boating is like for us out in the middle of nowhere, up here in Iowa on the Mississippi. We don't have hurricanes to deal with, but muddy water, a little less than a 7 month season, sometimes high water & current, & sometimes low water outside of the channel. Every fall we make the 122 mile journey upriver to La Crosse, Wi. for inside heated storage for the winter. Since we'll be heading up in a few weeks, it reminded me of our trip last year. Like everything, some trips & years are better than others. Last year we caught the rising sun hitting the bluff, so we just stopped in the middle of the river & took it in. It was one of those rare times the entire bluff was full of color, the sun hitting it was spectacular.
Way better in person, but here's a video the admiral took:

I sure hope everyone will be safe in Florida, we'll be praying for you
