So the Marquipt davit is being rennovated at the same time the dinghy chocks are being repositioned on the back flybridge deck.
The davit has not been used often in the seven years we have owned the boat. Mechanically and electrically its fine, but we will replace the wire with dyneema.
BUT.... We cannot remember how to lift the arm up. There is a trick to this I think. I don't believe the ram is stuck..... just somehow locked in position.


On the hard this week. 43 tonnes empty of fuel and water.
