Exhaust Risers NEW 6-71

Does anyone know whether these would also be suitable for 871 ti detroits

They don't look at all what my 6-71's run. May be for TI but my naturals run a cast flanged manifold. Bill

They are for DD-6-71 TI, the flange end attaches to Turbo

Big diference between a natural and a ti, on a natural just bolts up to the back of the exhaust manifold and a slip fit on the hose. Bill

Bill- there is a gasket between flange and Turbo and clamps that tighten down flange, this actually allows for some axial rotation to properly orient the riser, these are from later model, water cooled with the High Tech heat insulation, no need for blankets as was case for older designs. However I am not sure if they fit an 8-71. The risers are in the Brielle area if that helps, maybe consult with a marine mechanic to confirm.
