Engine Hatch removal mid 80's 52C

Has anyone gone through the process of removing floor hatches on this model? What's involved in terms of disconnecting underside cabling, electrical, etc???

I understand there is a main beam that is sistered into the sides of the boat that can not be cut. I think everything needs to come out thru the cockpit access.

Yes, I have had them up a number of times. No big deal. Remove the carpet, take out all the srews and remove the screws from a few wire clamps.
