Engine and fuel monitoring systems

I reviewed a few old posts about what systems people have installed. I have a 1971 58YF with 8V71s. I looked at the Flowscan NMEA 2000 system and received a quote from them for $2400/engine. I'm afraid of what the Maretron quote will be.

I started looking through the old threads and found the Noland system and it seems more affordable and with the same or more capabilities.

Anyone with recommendations or what they have installed?
