Hatteras Model
48' MOTOR YACHT-Series I (1981 - 1984)
I thought I'd post this in the hope it will help someone else in the future.

Our old combo washer drier started to fill very slowly on cold water. Hot was OK. I suspected a bad water fill solenoid and bought one, but on disconnecting the hose, I found the screen in the solenoid had plugged up with debris. Cleaned it with a brush and a squirt of water and all is good. Added a new hose washer since it was exposed. Access was from the closet behind the unit. 1981 48MY

If there's an inline water filter it may have failed like ours did, while under the previous owners watch of course.

Craig, we need to order a couple extra filters for each of us. You or me?

Where is the filter located? I didn't see it behind the machine or in the ER where the hoses connect.

On our 43DC one is for the galley sink (only) and is under the galley sink. The other one is for the wet bar and ice maker and is in the ER over the port transmission They may be shown in your drawings.Best wishes, Craig

Thanks, I'll check. I do not recall seeing a filter.
