  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
39' CONVERTIBLE (1994 - 1997)
Another boat manufacturer, Donzi Marine, has been sold to a company that dosen't manufacture boats, but does own some of it's suppliers. It's future of making high performance boats may be in question. It may go the route of Scarab-Wellcraft and build fishing-family boats.

Another sign of the times.

I have just seen some basic anouncements. No details. I am interested because I have a Donzi 22 Classic for when I really need to get somewhere in a hurry. Burns less fuel that the Hatteras, but the ride isn't as good.

And look at what happened to WellCraft when a "non boating" company bought them.....

Donzi's were overrated anyway. The design and build quality was just ok......just like wellcraps. On the go fast boats, the first clue to quality is how the hull/deck is attached to each other. The REAL go fast boats are glassed together.

Thanks for those kind words about the Donzi that I spent so many months rebuilding. At least I could get the deck off to replace everything.

Seems like Krush has a hell of lot to say on this forum for someone who doesn't even own a Hatteras.

Please quote where I commented on your donzi or typed "Ragbagger" in my post.

Your ad hominem argument is lame. Facts are facts and I said nothing untrue. I do like the classic era donzi's though.

Krush has been learning from Stormy?
