Don't blame the Bird for the tornados

Yes Randy is in Florida and called me to see how bad it was in my area. For those not in Florida the tornados hit west of Deland Florida and flattened some mobile homes.

A few fatalities and massive areas of damaged homes are a terrible thing to wake up to.

The storms moved between 45 and 60 MPH and tore through a large area at 3AM destroying many homes. One local hospital has announced they can no longet take patients as they are full. Cell towers and phones are working poorly and communications is poor. If anyone has relatives in the area we wish the best and hope they can contact you soon.

3AM last night and still going on now. There is a tornado aproaching I 95 as I type at the brevard Indian river line.

My daughters lives in Deland. One in town and one Just 8 miles from the trailer park that got hit at Christmas. The phones don't work.

I'm in Apopka and everything is OK here. If there is anything I can do to help call me at 321-239-4753. I am about 45 minutes south.

Most of the damage was near the town of Deland. 14 are dead so far. 3 cell phone towers are down. a Sheriff substation is down. The damage was south of my daughters home. She said there is debris every where. Lots of property damage. My oldest daughter works for the Sheriff dept in Deland. I just talked to her. Her husband is a retired Fireman there.

Lady Lake got thumped. We are South by 30 min and just had lots of wind. My brother lives up there had a small tree deposited on his garage roof but no damage. Got to go check the boat tonight......

Scott when I call him yesterday he was in your house and we started talking about hurricanes and tornado's
