Difference between 67 DM and 67 DK CPMY models ?

I am seeing Owner's Manuals and plans that appear to use those model designations interchangeably.
Am I missing something?

Never knew there were any variations on the 67CPMY. Never heard of a DK designation.

DK is the 60 MY without the cockpit. If you look in the brochures database, its the same pdf for both models.

That's what I thought too, but the 1988 67 CPMY I just bought is *Hull ID "DK"* -- go figure!
The boat had an Owners Manual for a 60 - ID'd as DM.
Then Hatteras sent me 67 Owner Manual with "DM" all over it - except for a few pages with "DK".
So, I began to doubt myself - and (sacrilegious, I know) the Gods of the Hatterai.

You might have a 60 (DK) that was extended after delivery by a third party. Are your rudder posts in the cockpit lazarette and do your props go all the way aft to below the cockpit? If your shafts and props don’t go all the way aft and the rudders are accessed from the aft side of the master stateroom then it probably started its life as a 60. Also main engine exhaust should exit at the transom if it is factory. Not a bad thing, but could help explain the difference in nomenclature.

Yup, I'm thinking 60 extended by Hatt of Lauderdale at delivery to an enclosed swim platform 70 CPMY.
The layouts and plans are so very similar between to DK 60 MY, DM 67 CPMY that it likely makes no material difference.
That plus all the crap that the successive owners added makes my Marine Archeology experiences here half art / half science.
