As an addition to the when is enough thread.

Did you run your boat this month?

All are welcome to answer. Even the Lakers who have a 6 week season.

Yes, many times. Use it or loose it. Burning fuel is the best engine maintenance plan ever and fun to boot. Also the cheapest plan.

12 hours on the meter this month. Mostly at 26 plus knots.

I did. It's a nice change of pace from last season.

You must leave the dock to qualify as running bing the boat.

And no trips to the fuel dock or pumpouts count.

Just got back from a 36 hour overnighter. This was first overnight trip on this boat for me. Burned 285 gallons of fuel putting at 9 knots. I think we went about 140 miles round trip

That qualifies for sure.

Three out of four weekends in the last month, including an overnight with 200 miles round trip. Missed last weekend due to turbo rebuilds (fished a friends boat instead) but will be doing another 250mile trip next weekend.

It's an addiction.

Leaving the dock for the sole purpose of turning the boat around to get the dinky lift on the dock side probably should not count either. If so, that makes me a NO, with regret.

Just got back from a beautiful two and a half week trip from Hampton VA to Beaufort NC and back.
Just a little over 500 miles. Various stops along the way like Manteo NC, Ocracoke NC, Orential NC and Belhaven.
Did get a chance to tie up next to a couple of gorgeous 75 and 80 foot new Hatteras'

Yes, out three times, I think, and the only reason not in the last few days is that I've been sanding and varnishing, which I hope to have done this week.

515nm this season so far but we just bought the boat in March and had additional running before we put in the new plotter.

Left White Lake for Ludington, then Frankfort, then South Manitou Island. Next was Charlevoix and then on to Cheboygan and Duncan Bay.

We will take her to Mackinac Island next, then back south. The odometer just turned over 44,000nm.

The boat and...

Yes, Airpilot in tow, as usual.

(actually, I could never catch him if he didn't wait for me)
